After all this time spent on collating my Moments with the Sun, I was brought back to reality by the sweet clinking noise the drops of rain are making on the roof here.

That sound is actually my first reason to smile on a rainy day: so appeasing and so comforting to hear when you’re in… Probably not as sweet for those who must brave the outdoors on their way to work.

But after a  period of drought (or not) and (sometimes) heat, a nice long cleansing shower is well needed. Taking away the impurities, rejuvenating the grounds and replenishing our reserves of fresh water, what would we do without rain? Plus we wouldn’t enjoy glorious days so much!
